------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------CITIES------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Aldur
-The City of Aldur sits in a valley with a great dam separating the cobble streets from the crashing seas. The population is mostly human, however a small dwarven community has sprung up in the past hundred years, mostly consisting of builders accommodating for the frequent large scale repairs the dam often requires. Aldurian builders use a strange tar found in the Black Marsh. This tar, and dwarven skill has been Aldur's claim to fame in Kanus.

Arendal
-Once a navel fort, Arendal is now a large trade town. The populous is extremely mixed in race. Trade ships are constantly moving night and day and a great market place stretches across the entirety of the city. Arendal overlooks “The Gauntlet,” a clear blue bay. Despite the Eralian Sea's strong current, The Gauntlet diverts the current directly to Arendal and the near by river. The gauntlet is likely why Arendal was selected as a navel base long ago and why it is such an important port now.

Buram
-The dwarven city of Buram is renown for it's deep adamantine mines. The mines produce so much in fact, the Buramen town guard are outfitted with adamantine scale. However, they guard their resources very closely, and sell the metal at auction by the create.

Cesta
-Cesta is an ancient city that has slowly fallen to pieces over the centuries. It's once great colosseum is little more than rubble and in the wake of a growing world Cesta fell back on the only thing it knows how to do that the world still needs. Great farms sprawl across what was once the outer edge of the city. Only the inner most ring of the city still, mostly, stands.

Chandur
-The Chanduran people once ruled over a large area of land. From the Jerrut Channel to the Emerald Bay, the 'Chandur Empire' desired to rule Kanus. A great war spanned over five generations of men. Only after a crushing defeat in The Red Valley did Chanduran Lord Tiberius II hand over his city. However, before he was never captured by the Sovereign Union. The humans of Chandur still harbor great hatred and desire to this day to reclaim what they believe is thiers.

Dran
-A holy city, touched by the goddess of fortune, Dran is home to both humans and elves. It's beautiful canals act as streets and most of it's buildings are taller than they are wide. Due to the goddess's blessings the farms grow plentiful and in the city's food surplus, a rich culture of artists and merchants has grown strong in Dran.

Esphur
-Esphur is built on a large crystal cave system and is a place of great magical power. At it's center sits the Academy of the Archmagi of Kanus. The academy produces minor wondrous items for the military and keeps records of all major historical events in Kanus. Over the years Headmaster Vandal Galefray has become almost a household name.

Felnyr
-The city of gnomes and dwarves is dug deep into the rock in a square like fashion and carved from it in one piece. The granite rock removed from the city is shipped to other towns in exchange for other resources.
